Artsy Photos

So, my friend showed me this fancy app that can edit photos on your phone (Snapseed - super easy!) and it looks great! It was so fun I got a little carried away taking photos of...nothing. And now I'm not sure what to do with all these cool photos I have, so they're considered art now and going on record here.

And of course I have to try it out with my two best subjects!

And finally, here are two of my friend's pictures that she took that are my absolute favorite! She has the greatest eye - what a photographer @bookishbitz!

Camera phones are getting so good these days...isn't it amazing!?

Checking in...

Well, I only made it half-way through the December photo challenge before I had to give up my camera...our transmission went out, and having to pay thousands of dollars to fix that meant giving up new toys...boo! But on a happier side-note - I did find my old camera so I have one again. Still not as good as the one I dropped (and definitely not the new one), but at least I can still take pictures...right!?

Anyways, I've still been doing a little art here and there.

These two cards were for a personal trade.

These cards were for the December PAT. The themes were a zebra (any color), a cat with wings, a rainbow lego man, and a rooster.

The themes for this group were Queen Elizabeth the 1st, Farscape TV show, a moonlight landscape with a house and trees, and a Thomas Kincade inspired landscape.

Going Bigger

I've been trying out some 4x6 works instead of ATCs. I've just been feeling that trading ATCs aren't satisfying the direction I want to go with my art right now...we'll see what happens in the future.

And now I'm all caught up on scanning and posting my art! Yay! Everything is going to be more current now...

Mid-October PAT

For this PAT I created some of my favorite cards! I really hated to send them away :)

For this group the themes were: a blue giraffe and a pink cow, a flower goddess, Bronson, and a surrealist dog with an umbrella.

For this group the themes were: a bouquet, a chicken, a fish, and a landscape.

January PAT

The themes for this group were: superhero, whimsical bird, Frida, and a fish.

The themes for this group were: a squirrel with a tomato in his mouth, a landscape, a Clue character, a whimsical musketeer.

Old Art

Playing catch up so I can get all my art posted here! These were all ATCs I made when I first learned about this type of art in September of 2011,
